A full staff exists at Apartments & Family Housing (AFH) to assist residents.
The area coordinator (AC) for apartment living is a full-time professional staff member who lives and works at AFH. The AC is responsible for creating a safe environment, articulating policy, counseling and advising students, coordinating educational and social programming, serving as a resource to the broader University community, and has ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day management at AFH.
Community aides (CAs) are part-time staff (UVM students or student/partner couples) who live and work at AFH. They assist the area coordinator in welcoming new residents and fostering a strong sense of community and engagement. CAs are on call when the office is closed.
The office manager, a full-time staff member and vital part of the AFH team, manages the front desk and supports all functions at AFH.Last updated August 28th, 2013
