New students need to display a parking pass bearing the arrival time assigned for your complex. Information on obtaining a parking pass will be included in your mid-August room assignment email.

Check in at the main desk of your complex. There will be a UVM welcome crew of student, faculty, and staff volunteers to greet and direct you. Some volunteers will be available to assist in unloading vehicles and moving belongings to rooms.

As a general practice we do not house students prior to opening day (normal exceptions are students who are here to participate in the first-year TREK program and students who are practicing with a UVM athletic team). If you feel that you have extenuating circumstances that require special consideration, please contact us. Please note: Residential Life offices and main desks are closed the Saturday of opening weekend.
