University Dining Services (UDS) at UVM, managed by Sodexo Campus Services, is committed to serving the diverse dining needs of the University community. UDS demonstrates their commitment to social responsibility by partnering with regional businesses to provide organic and local foods. UDS provides nutritious menu items designed to present students with options for creating a balanced meal. If a student has allergies, an ethnic or religious observance affecting their diet, food intolerances, or other dietary needs, UDS will work with them to ensure there are dining options that will meet their needs. All residential students are required to choose a meal plan. Meal plan options vary in cost and access to dining facilities, and feature a combination of unlimited access (all-you-care-to-eat meals in traditional dining halls) and retail points, which can be used at any location on campus. With all meal plans, unused points carry over from the fall to the spring semester but are forfeited at the end of the academic year.
Meal Plan Changes: Residents should pick the meal plan that best suits their needs, and can change their plan at no extra charge during the first two weeks of each semester.
